The Journal of the Turkish Foundation for the Education of Gifted and Talented Children is a peer-reviewed journal. Submitted articles are evaluated by at least two referees (double-blind peer review). The review process typically takes 1-3 months, depending on the journal's workload.
Initially, articles undergo a preliminary review by the Editor. Articles deemed appropriate in terms of format and content are sent to at least two referees for evaluation. In accordance with the double-blind review process, referees do not know the identity of the authors or other referees, and the authors do not know the identity of the referees.
Following the review process, the Editor decides whether the article is accepted or rejected based on the referees' reports. Articles requiring substantial revisions are subjected to a renewed review process from the beginning. Accepted articles are queued for publication in an appropriate issue.
